I’m an educator and consultant with strong interests in model-driven development, software testing, and agile methods.

Now I’m on a mission to take the best of these practices and to supercharge them through the transformative power of generative AI.

What I’m doing is based on many years of working in all areas and phases of software development—from business analysis through modeling, coding, and testing. How do we use AI to accelerate our processes, but avoid accelerating to chaos?

This year I’ve developed and taught two new courses, AI for Business Analysis and AI for Software Testing. These and other courses are distributed worldwide through SoftEd. I also lead webinars and panel discussions on real practical applications of AI throughout the software lifecycle.

Working directly with clients, I get to take the best of modern software practices and supercharge them through the transformative power of generative AI. We strip away the fluff and ceremony and get right to the tough questions: What do you want? and How do you know you got it?

AI is also transforming testing. TAME—Test Automation Made Easy—is going to be a whole new beast, but still focused on the key idea of building better specifications and turning them into more productive tests.
